Mark Donahoe
Mark Donahoe is a graduate of Lambuth University and The
University of Mississippi School of Law. He is admitted to practice in
Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana State Courts and various Federal Courts
and regularly tries cases in both Civil and Criminal courts. He is also admitted
to practice in The United States Supreme Court and The 5th and 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has argued appeals in the Tennessee Supreme
Court, the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, the Tennessee court of Civil Appeals
and The United States 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Donahoe has a certification as a Criminal
Trial Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on CLE and Specialization and the
National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a former Assistant District Attorney for
the 4th Judicial District of Louisiana and has been defending
Criminal Cases for several years. He has been involved in a wide range of cases
including Murder, various Narcotics offenses and most Federal offenses including
Medicare and Insurance Fraud. He has represented Doctors, Lawyers,
Businessmen, Law Enforcement Officials and their children.
A large part of the firm’s Federal
Civil Litigation is handled by Mr. Donahoe. The firm regularly litigates in
several Federal Courts and is frequently associated by other counsel, both local
and out of state, on Federal matters.
As the chairman of the Technology
Section of the State of Tennessee Bar Association, Mr. Donahoe lectures on the
uses of technology both in the practice of law and the presentation of witnesses
and exhibits at trial.
Mr. Donahoe has been selected and
has become a life member of the United States 6th Circuit Judicial
Conference at the invitation of United States District Judge James Todd.
By maintaining membership in
several Bar Associations, The National Association of Criminal Defense
Attorneys, The Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the
Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Donahoe and the firm stay prepared to
regularly litigate in all courts in Tennessee.
